These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Elodie Home ("Elodie," "the Service"), an AI-powered voice assistant available as an Alexa skill and through elodiehome.com. By using Elodie, you agree to these Terms.
Elodie Home is an AI-powered morning and routine assistant that helps you manage daily tasks through voice interaction on Amazon Alexa-enabled devices. Elodie uses artificial intelligence to generate conversational responses, remember your preferences, and deliver personalized information.
Elodie is an artificial intelligence system. She is not a human being. All responses are generated by AI technology and may contain errors, inaccuracies, or inappropriate content. You should not rely on Elodie for medical advice, legal counsel, financial guidance, emergency assistance, or any situation requiring professional human judgment.
You must be at least 13 years of age to use Elodie. If you are between 13 and 17 years of age, you may use Elodie with parental or guardian awareness. Elodie includes additional safeguards for users under 18, including AI disclosure reminders and interaction break reminders as required by California law (SB 243).
Users under 13 are not permitted to use Elodie in compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

Elodie is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that Elodie will be accurate, reliable, uninterrupted, or error-free.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Elodie Home and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to:

California residents: Pursuant to California's automatic renewal law, we will provide clear terms before charging, obtain your affirmative consent, and provide a simple cancellation mechanism.
Your use of Elodie is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using Elodie, you consent to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.
All content, design, technology, and branding associated with Elodie Home — including but not limited to the Elodie name, logo, audio signatures, conversation design, and software — are the intellectual property of Elodie Home and its operators.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works based on Elodie's technology, design, or content without written permission.
Elodie offers optional account linking to enhance your experience across devices and enable features like email summaries. Account linking is never required to use core features. If you choose to link your account, you authorize us to store your email address and associate it with your Elodie profile.
You may unlink your account at any time through the Alexa app or by contacting us.
Elodie operates on Amazon's Alexa platform and is subject to Amazon's terms and policies in addition to these Terms. We are not responsible for changes Amazon makes to their platform, policies, or services.
Use of Elodie through the Alexa platform is also governed by the Amazon Alexa Terms of Use.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with reasonable notice. We will attempt to notify active users of material changes through the skill or via email (if account is linked).
We may suspend or terminate your access to Elodie if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that we reasonably believe is harmful to other users, to us, or to third parties. You may stop using Elodie at any time by disabling the skill in the Alexa app.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Santa Clara County, California.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the skill or posted on this page. Continued use of Elodie after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
